how to Search & sort ads

Search

Use the search fields to select the ads to view. Here is a description of what each option provides and how to use it.

Date
Click the down-arow and select one of the menu options.

All	all ads regardless of date entered.
Today	ads entered today
Last 3 days	ads entered in the last three days
Last 7 days	ads entered in the last seven days

Price
Allows selection of items based on the listed price. Enter the low price and then the high price to establish a range.

City/Town
Allows selection of ads based on the address of the advertiser. Click the down-arrow to select a name.

Postal Code
Allows selection of ads based on the postal or zip code region of the advertiser.

Province State
Allows selection of ads based on the province or state of residence of the advertiser. Click the down-arrow to select a name.

Country
Allows selection of ads based on the country of residence of the advertiser. Click the down-arrow to select a name.

Ad Category
Allows selection of ads based on our ad categories. Click the down-arrow to select a category by name. After you you select an ad super-category, he applicable sub-categories will appear below the Search button to let you further refine your search.

Description
Allows selection of ads based on words you enter as found in the ad text. Type one or two words in the data entry box.

Search criteria can be used in combination - the more criteria you entrer the more specific your search and the fewer ads displayed.

Sort

Ads can be displayed in multiple orders to simplify browsing. These options are selected from the menu above listings.

Start
Display ads based on the first date of display - the newest ads will appear first.

End
Display ads based on expiry date - those expiring soonest appear first.

Region
Display ads based on the region in which advertisers are located.

Type
Display ads according to the ad categories we have assigned.

Price
Display ads accordin to price - least to greatest.

RESET

To clear all search criteria, click the Reset button.
